About
Two friends, one mic, zero supervision
Recovery Unsupervised started as long phone calls that probably should have been recorded. So now they are.
Why we started this
Most of what we found about recovery sounded either terrifying or like a brochure. Not much sounded like our actual lives — the humor, the setbacks, the weird small wins, the days you white-knuckle through and call it a victory. So we made the thing we wanted to listen to.
We're not counselors, sponsors, or experts. We're people with lived experience who believe that talking honestly — and laughing when it's funny — makes this whole thing less lonely. If you've ever felt like you were doing recovery "wrong," you're exactly who this is for.

Meet Kaylee + Tiara

Kaylee
Wildcard / Unlicensed Chaos Narrator 😂
The one who says the honest thing first. Believes progress counts even on the days it looks like nothing. Will absolutely make you laugh mid-cry.

Tiara
Mayhem / Emotional Support Bad Influence 😂
Asks the follow-up question everyone else skips. Keeps things warm, real, and a little unhinged — in the good way.
What we believe
- Nobody's recovery has to look like anybody else's.
- Humor and respect can live in the same sentence.
- Shame keeps people sick; honesty doesn't.
- We share our experience, never prescribe yours.
