Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Recovery Unsupervised ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we receive when you use this website and how we handle it.

Information we collect

Messages you send us. Our contact form opens your own email application, so any message you send reaches us as an ordinary email containing the name, email address, and content you choose to include. We do not store contact submissions in a database on this website.

Payment information. Support contributions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout pages. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with limited transaction details such as your name, email address, amount, and payment status so we can confirm and acknowledge your support.

Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested for security and reliability purposes.

How we use information

We use information only to reply to you, deliver any support perks you requested, administer payments and refunds, keep the site secure, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, including Stripe (payments), our website host, and our email provider. Each processes information under its own privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by law.

Shout-outs and listener stories

We only use your name, brand, or story on the podcast or website when you tell us we may. If you ask to stay anonymous, we will keep it anonymous. You can ask us to stop using your name at any time.

Retention

We keep emails and transaction records only as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal requirements.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing recoveryunsupervised@yahoo.com. Payment records we must retain for tax and accounting purposes may be excluded from deletion.

Children

This website and podcast are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above will change when we do, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
